Assistant Provost for Institutional Research
Angela Baldasare serves as the Assistant Provost for Institutional Research, formerly known as the Office of Institutional Research and Planning Support (OIRPS). In 2014, Institutional Research joined with the Enterprise Information & Analytics unit to form University Analytics & Institutional Research (UAIR). UAIR provides institutional research and analytics support for the University in strategic planning, management decision-making, and policy analysis.
Having earned her PhD in sociology from the University of Arizona, Dr. Baldasare is a proud alumni dedicated to the success of our students and our institution. From 2010-2014, Dr. Baldasare served as the Director of Divisional Assessment & Research for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at UA, where she led the charge in advancing the division’s data-driven approach and strategic plan. Prior to her return to UA in 2010, Dr. Baldasare was an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Dayton. Angela also spent 10 years as a research and evaluation consultant on international public health projects, as well as statewide and tribal initiatives for the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and the Arizona Governor’s Office of Children, Youth, and Families.
