Cultural and Resource Centers
The vision and plan of the Cultural and Resource Centers focus on developing the talents of scholars, fostering conditions that support achievement, and reducing institutional barriers. It addresses the success and retention of scholars in marginalized communities, by detailing cutting-edge paradigm shifts to make the University of Arizona a model of inclusive excellence in service to its scholars.
Hispanic Serving Initiatives
The University of Arizona is the first four-year public university in the state of Arizona to be federally recognized as a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI). As a research-intensive land-grant HSI, the University of Arizona is committed to responsively meeting the educational needs of our vibrant and increasingly diverse communities of Arizona.
Native American Initiatives
The mission of the Office of Native American Initiatives is to uphold the UArizona's commitment to its land-grant mission and inclusive excellence by advancing the academic aspirations of Native American students and faculty, and a tradition of service to Native Nations.
Inclusive Faculty Groups
This page contains a list of of Inclusive Faculty Groups on campus and leader(s). Leaders meet monthly with the Vice Provost of Faculty Affairs.
Faculty & Staff Affinity Groups
The University of Arizona offers a number of inclusive affinity groups for both staff and faculty.
Disability Resource Center (DRC)
DRC ensures disability access for our campus. We work to create a universally designed campus and reduce the need for individual accommodations through proactive collaboration with University partners.
