Rick Kroc

Associate Vice Provost, Office of Institutional Research & Planning Support

Rick Kroc received his Ph.D. from University of Colorado in Educational Research and Evaluation Methods in 1983 and began working at The University of Arizona as Director of Testing in 1985. Over the next few years, as the importance of enrollment management grew, his responsibilities shifted into institutional research and planning in that area. As an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Higher Education, Dr. Kroc team teaches (with Dr. John Cheslock) the graduate enrollment management course and serves on doctoral committees. He has also authored three book chapters in related areas. From 2005-2007, he served as the first president of the Arizona Association for Institutional Research. In 2007, three UA offices were merged to form the Office of Institutional Research and Planning Support, which Dr. Kroc oversees. Currently, one of his most important projects is convincing his high school son to become a Wildcat!
