Eddie Caratachea

Eddie Caratachea currently serves as Director of Administrative Data Reporting & Analytics and leads the University Analytics & Institutional Research (UAIR) unit on an interim basis. In this role, he provides strategic support for UAIR’s core functions, including institutional reporting, enterprise data architecture, analytics support, data governance, and stakeholder engagement across the university.
With a focus on collaboration and operational integrity, Eddie works closely with campus leaders and cross-functional teams to advance the university’s data infrastructure and decision-support capabilities. His leadership spans administrative domains such as planning, budget, finance, human resources, research, faculty and other data domains, ensuring UAIR delivers timely, accurate, and actionable insights to support institutional priorities.

Eddie brings over a decade of experience at the University of Arizona, helping to shape a data-informed culture through thoughtful reporting strategy, effective business intelligence structures, and service-focused partnerships. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a BS  in Business Administration with a major in Economics, both from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.
