Academic Excellence

Collaborative Classroom

Institutional accreditation validates the quality of an institution as a whole and evaluates multiple aspects of an institution ranging from its academic offerings, governance and administration, mission, finances, and resources.

The University of Arizona is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), 1080 Marina Village Parkway, Suite 500, Alameda, CA 94501, 510.748.9001.

Academic Program Review

An academic program review is intended to enhance the quality of a program and to ensure excellence in the academic programs. The standard review consists of a self-study, followed by a review by a committee of experts from inside and outside the University.

Teaching and Assessment

We are committed to providing excellent academic experience to the students. Many resources are dedicated to helping faculty explore and apply learning-centered teaching practices, select appropriate technologies that enhance the instructional process, and develop effective assessment and evaluation strategies.

Academic Administration

Academic Administration collaborates with administrators, faculty, academic professionals, staff, and students to improve policies, programs, practices, and processes that advance the academic mission of the University.

Office of the Registrar

The Office of the Registrar's mission is to support teaching, learning and student development by maintaining the integrity of academic policies and the student information.

Online and Global

The University of Arizona is redefining the international and online university experience. We are building a network of global locations to deliver high-quality education, igniting international projects, and expanding access to intercultural experiences for the entire University community. We are ranked as one of the best online bachelor's programs in the nation by the U.S. News & World Report in 2020.
