The Faculty Digest is a bi-weekly publication issued every other Thursday, aimed at keeping the University of Arizona faculty updated on important news, resources, events, and opportunities. We welcome your content suggestions and submissions for the Faculty Digest. Share relevant news, events, and academic achievements to help us better serve the faculty and academic community.

Faculty Support & Resources
Purpose: Resources, support, and opportunities for faculty that elevate their teaching and research activities. May also include resources on how faculty can support student success.
Requirements:
• Informative title
• Short descriptive sentences explaining importance to faculty/student success
• Desired publication date
• Link to full content such as website
• Submitter's name and affiliation
• Optional: High-definition photo or graphics (500-600 pixels when reduced)
Awards and Accolades
Purpose: Highlights of faculty or unit’s academic achievements, awards, and accolades
Requirements:
• Informative title
• Award description with relevant links
• Link to full content such as website or news
• Desired publication date
• Submitter's name and affiliation
• Photo of the awardee. High-definition photo or graphics (500-600 pixels when reduced)
Highlights
Purpose: Showcase units, programs, or initiatives supporting faculty and student success
Requirements:
• Informative title
• Short paragraph about unit/program and accomplishments
• Desired publication date
• Link to full content such as website or news
• Submitter's name and affiliation
• High-definition photo or graphics (500-600 pixels when reduced)
Mark Your Calendar
Purpose: Promote events or programs geared toward faculty
Requirements:
• Informative title
• Event description, which should include deadlines
• Link to full announcement and registration, website, etc
• Desired publication date
• Submitter's name and affiliation
Submission Guidelines
Content
- Content should be specifically pertinent to faculty. Maximum 100 words
- Content should target a broad faculty audience (department/college-specific events welcome)
- Events/programs must be University of Arizona sponsored or affiliated
- Submissions will only be posted in one issue of the digest. Please keep in mind for timing
- The Office of the Provost reserves the right to include/exclude content received via submission
- If an image is included, alternative text is required. Please provide copyright information and a short description of the image
Timeline
To ensure your content is included in the upcoming issue, your information must be submitted by 5 pm on Friday of the previous week. This timeline allows our team to review and prepare all submissions for publication in the following week's Faculty Digest.
Publication Date
The Faculty Digest is published every two weeks on Thursday.
Spring 2025
First Issue: January 9, 2025
Last Issue: May 15, 2025
