Open House for Chemistry and The Commons

Open House for Chemistry and The Commons

Join us for the open house and tours for Chemistry and The Commons!

The work to renovate the University of Arizona's historic Chemistry Building and construct a new building called The Commons has been completed. The combined 78,600-square-foot facilities house collaborative learning classrooms designed to encourage cooperation, inclusive practices, and active learning and innovative teaching/learning studios for online instruction. The renovated Chemistry Building houses the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the nuclear magnetic resonance equipment and electronic and metal shops, and the General Education Office.

The open house will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 11 am to 3 pm. See below a schedule of events and register.
