Student Software Support Solutions
Making college more affordable
Kasey Urquidez, Vice President, Enrollment Management, submitted a proposal titled, “Student Support Software Solutions” and was awarded $452,800. The primary goal of the initiative is to utilize technology to help students acquire increased access to financial aid, step-by-step mobile- and digital-friendly forms that help students accomplish necessary tasks and understand documentation requirements, as well as clarity and ease with regard to viewing and understanding their awards. This initiative aligns with Pillar 1 of the UA Strategic Plan as it helps provide more students gain access to a college education and sustained financial aid that will help to retain them through to completion. To sustain the costs of the technology, the Office of Student Financial Aid will embed the costs into their permanent budget as these services continue to drive institutional revenue growth of enrollment and retention.
